GUEST FRIENDLY

On the northern side of the island, over the mountains, there is a place free of darkness, ruled by a golden king who's heart is pure and warm. Here the meadows are green and filled with wild flowers of all sorts, streams of crystal clear mountain water run in gentle, lulling patterns. The only thing that any of these gentle equines fear is the dark lord who lives over the mountain and near the raging sea on the jagged cliffs of Cocheta, but they are safe in this haven even if other wild animals share the space with them, including the occasional wolf pack.

This is a place of beauty, with rolling green hills and a view of the unclaimed beach lands. There is a small fresh water pond with assorted fish all colors of the rainbow. Trees ring the large perimeter of this meadow where mares come to be claimed. There is an air of wonder about this place and maybe that's because most horses can find a forever home, or so they hope. Quester has been known to drift through this land and pick off mares one by one so be warned...you could end up going to the shadow lands.

There is something odd about this place. No matter the beauty of the cascading waterfall, it always has a silver sheen to it. That's because there is a slab of pure earth-formed silver behind it. The foliage surrounding this haven is lush and vibrant. Maneuvering around is quite difficult with vines and ferns growing as tall as the blackberry bushes. A mist lingers on the air and a sweet scent from the abundant flowers overwhelms the senses. However, the most peculiar thing about Silver Waterfalls is that once someone steps foot within this place, no act of violence can be committed which makes it the safest place on the whole island. It is the heart of the Arrowhead Island.

Located on the very edge of the island, overlooking sheer rocks in the ocean, Crumbling Away Prison is claimed to be haunted by the prisoners once inhabiting this place. Years of being abandoned, have led the building to start crumbling away. A rather peaceful place to visit for those that are brave enough to visit it.

Arrowhead Beach is a quiet and peaceful place to visit. White sand, blue-green water, sea oats, and palm trees make it a more pleasant place to be if you have not already found a home and even if you have there is still some measure of majesty about the place that attracts equines. There is a small piece of land away from the mainland in the shape of a spearhead. At low tide you can cross to this small island, where many equines from light and dark have met for romance, but be warned as many have been lost to the tide coming in too quick.

This land has been said to always have a gloomy mist engulfing every square foot, the air is thick to breathe, the footing is treacherous, it is a dark place of unknown horrors and deep mystery. It is notorious for rugged mountains, harsh winters and floods that come in from the deadly ocean. Trees are scarce so privacy is not an option. A few lush meadows can be found here and there but it is not a place that most equines wish to live. There are many traps and dangers here, one of them being the dark lord who rules here.
